WHY PRAXENT | CULTURE
We’ve got our priorities.
And they start with you.
At Praxent, we put client relationships first. Our culture is built around empowering our clients to unlock hidden potential with technology. We’ve helped more than 300 businesses grow by harnessing the power of digital innovation — and we always love a new challenge.
We partner with client leaders to unlock hidden potential within their organizations and empower them to achieve that potential through digital innovation, delivered reliably, with exemplary service and support.
We aim to significantly contribute to more than 100 industry revolutions in the course of the next 25 years. We will do so by supporting a network of service-based businesses that will lead by owning disruption and harnessing the power of digital innovation to win.
OUR CAN-DO PROMISE
We aren’t just another vendor. We’re your partner. Your purpose is our purpose.
We take commitments seriously and can be relied on to follow through.
We strive for the highest quality in usability, design and engineering.
DO IT TOGETHER
We cultivate a collaborative
environment characterized by
recognition, trust and respect.
OWN THE OUTCOME
No excuses. Your success is our
reputation. We’re proud to put
our name on all of our work.
WE PARTNER TO EMPOWER.
Praxent cultivates low-ego, high-integrity partnerships. We strive to give you the benefit of our expertise while always valuing yours. We love our work, but it’s not about us — it’s about the people we empower. Here are a few ways we show our clients that they’re our top priority:
WE SHOW OUR WORK.
We don’t hide away in a dark room for months and only deliver the finished product. We show our work and share our decisions to ensure they are in alignment with your business priorities.
WE DIVE DEEPER.
With respect, we challenge assumptions and push back on requirements if we see a better way. We say ‘our chairs don’t recline’ to describe our active engagement to maximize the value of our work and your time.
WE START SMALL.
According to research by the Standish Group, small projects are almost 4x more successful. Having delivered 300+ digital innovation projects successfully, we’ve experienced first-hand that starting small is the best way to build momentum and drive maximum value.
WE’RE HERE TO SERVE.
The ideal Praxenter is hungry, humble, smart, and driven to serve. To prove how seriously we take this, ask our team about Praxent’s five-stage interview process, known internally as ‘the gauntlet.’
We cultivate a positive and supportive workplace of gratitude, recognition, and psychological safety.
The result? Our clients are happy because our employees are happy.
WE SING OUR TEAMS’ PRAISES
At our weekly team huddle, we share current project wins and learnings, unite around quarterly themes, and “cheers” individuals for their accomplishments.
COLLABORATION IS IN OUR DNA
Team members collaborate freely on deliverables. We use pair programming to ensure work is done right the first time, and eventually, to empower client-side team members.
WE MEET AT YOUR CONVENIENCE
Clients often attend meetings in person at our Austin office, but flexibly choose web and video conference as needed. All meeting rooms are setup with cameras and screens.
WE LOVE TO GATHER AND CELEBRATE
Team members venture out for team gatherings, host weekly Practice Lunch, and welcome families to quarterly celebrations.
WE’RE ALWAYS LEARNING
Our biannual hackathon is where teams experiment with new technologies and tools from robotics to facial recognition and machine learning.
OUR LEADERS TRULY CARE
Founder Tim Hamilton and Managing Partner Kevin Hurwitz care deeply about the success and satisfaction of our clients and the health of our team.
Two things that go well together:
Who we are and what we do
We’re a team of motivated thinkers who love to get things done. Our approach helps us put our talents to work in service to our clients. We like it here — and we think you will, too.
We make it clear
