Praxent Supports Sage Equity Partners in Launching Crowdfunding Platform for Modern Investors

Praxent Supports Sage Equity Partners in Launching Crowdfunding Platform for Modern Investors.

Praxent, a fintech UX design and engineering partner to financial companies, announced that it has supported Sage Equity Partners LP, a private equity investment firm that specializes in income producing, asset-backed investments.

Based in Houston, Texas, Sage Equity Partners previously relied on face-to-face engagement to raise capital exclusively from high-net-worth, accredited investors. Recognizing the trend toward democratized, self-service digital platforms, the firm wanted to introduce a new brand that would allow them to reach modern investors and scale. Sage Equity Partners engaged Praxent to help design and develop their new brand, SageStreet, and website, along with facilitating a strategic integration with WealthBlock, to expand their customer base.

“We selected Praxent because of their deep industry knowledge and experience,” said Harris Junell, founder and managing partner of Sage Equity Partners. “Praxent listened to our vision and made it a reality, creating an intuitive design and user experience that still conveys our trustworthiness and expertise. We are confident that this new platform will help us raise capital and attract new users while keeping our existing investor base engaged and happy.”

From concept to functional website and platform, the entire engagement with Praxent lasted 9 months. The firm now has a fully automated platform and website that enables self-service, helping to boost efficiencies. Everything can be done online, from signing up new investors to announcing opportunities, answering queries, and investing and funding directly through the platform, all without the involvement of portfolio managers, who can now focus on strategic growth efforts.

“Sage Equity Partners is lowering the barriers to entry, delivering a wider range of options and opportunities to a greater number of investors through a new, modern brand,” said Tim Hamilton, CEO of Praxent. “Working together, the firm can now offer a convenient, consistent digital experience to new and existing investors, strongly positioning themselves for growth and success.”
