Praxent Senior Software Architect Eric Wilson Accepted to AWS Community Builders Program

AWS (Amazon Web Services) Community Builders is an exclusive cloud community membership for technical building experts worldwide.


We’re thrilled to announce that Praxent Senior Software Architect, Eric Wilson, was recently accepted to Amazon Web Services’ AWS Community Builders, a worldwide cloud community and AWS developer program launched in July of 2020. AWS Community Builders runs on a twice yearly application cycle. Eric will have the opportunity to participate in mentorships, access AWS product teams and AWS Heros, and network with other developers in the program through 2021.

Members of the AWS Community can look forward to:

Membership is open to applicants worldwide, 18 or older, who are passionate about building on AWS. Demonstration of accurate technical proficiency via online knowledge sharing, community building efforts, writing, presenting, or open source contributions is ideal.

Praxent Senior Software Architect Eric Wilson

Eric has over 25 years of experience in building web-based and traditional client-server applications for a variety of markets. He currently has 3 AWS Certifications and is an MSCD and MSCE. Eric is invested in enhancing system security, disaster recovery, scalability, and high availability by implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

At Praxent, Eric oversees software design from a technical perspective and deep dives into code whenever possible. Eric has also co-authored two books and is enthusiastic about sharing best practices. Eric enjoys auto-scaling in AWS, taking long walks with his dogs, and is excited to be a part of the AWS Community.
