Praxent Named Among ‘Best Companies to Work for in Texas’ 2020 By Texas Monthly
NOVEMBER 5, 2019 – Austin, Texas: Praxent was recently named one of the Best Companies to Work for in Texas for 2020. The awards program first started in 2006 and is a project of Texas Monthly, the Texas Association of Business (TAB), Texas SHRM and Best Companies Group.
The Best Companies to Work for in Texas survey and awards program was created to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment that benefit the state’s economy, workforce and businesses. The 2020 list includes 100 companies, which must meet the following criteria to be considered:
- At least 15 employees working in Texas
- For-profit or not-for-profit business or government entity
- Publicly or privately held business
- Facility in the state of Texas
- In business a minimum of 1 year
Companies from across the state entered the two-part survey process. The first part (25%) consists of an evaluation of each nominated company’s workplace policies, systems, philosophies, practices and demographics. The second part (75%) is an employee survey measuring employee experience. These combined scores then determine the top companies to work for and influence ratings. The entire process is managed by Best Companies Group, who analyzed the data and drew upon their expertise to determine the final rankings.
The list of the 100 Best Companies to Work for in Texas will be revealed for the first time at the Texas Association of Business (TAB) Best Companies to Work for in Texas Awards Dinner and Celebration on April 2, 2020 at the Fairmont. Winners will also be profiled by Texas Monthly in a special publication released in conjunction with the event.
